Jim has been a commercial real estate mortgage banker for over 20 years and in that time has personally financed and closed just under $4 Billion in commercial real estate loans. Expanding his responsibilities over the years, he currently oversees development for over $150M in ground up construction for midrise and garden apartments for 3rd party clients. During his career, Jim has not only arranged permanent loans for debt, but also originated structured financings for transitional assets as well as ground up construction loans. Jim has arranged joint venture and preferred equity for large commercial real estate projects, mezzanine and construction mezzanine loans layered in with traditional debt products. Being the point person for all these transactions and closings, Jim has amassed years of real estate knowledge with a deep understanding of market dynamics and it’s effect on real estate.
